1In short
Apart from a few cookies the site needs to work, analytics and advertising cookies do not run before you agree where the law requires your consent. What you see depends on where you are: visitors from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland see Google’s consent message; visitors from the United States see Google’s US state privacy message, which lets you opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; visitors from Türkiye see a small cookie bar at the bottom of the page. Refusing never stops you from reading the site. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy & cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
4Consent messages and the Transparency and Consent Framework
- EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland: consent is collected through Google’s consent message, served by AdSense Privacy & messaging. It is a Google-certified consent management platform that uses the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF), so your choices are passed to Google and its advertising partners in a standard format.
- United States: Google’s US state privacy message lets you opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising. A Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser is treated as an opt-out request.
- Türkiye: the site’s own cookie bar, with “Accept”, “Reject” and “Preferences” buttons of the same size.
Google Analytics and Google AdSense are set up with Google Consent Mode v2: until you give consent, they are told not to store analytics or advertising cookies.
5About Google ads
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can turn off personalized advertising in Google’s My Ad Center, where you can also see and change why you are shown ads. You can also opt out of third-party vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info.
- How Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- If you do not consent to advertising cookies, you may still see ads, but they are non-personalized or limited ads.
6International transfers
Data collected through Google cookies is processed on the servers of Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC (United States). These countries may not offer the same level of protection as your own. When you allow analytics or advertising cookies, you also agree to this transfer; if you do not, no transfer happens through those cookies. More in the Privacy Policy.
7How to withdraw or change your consent
- Use the Privacy & cookie settings link at the bottom of the page to reopen your choices.
- In the United States, Google’s US state privacy message (opened with the same Privacy & cookie settings link) includes a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” option. You can also email info@gezginbirchef.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”.
- You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
- To turn off Google Analytics on all websites: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before. On the site’s own cookie bar, your choice is asked again every 6 months, not on every visit.
